Our Business

Parex is engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas in Colombia and Trinidad. The Company is continuing to develop its reserves and to conduct appraisal and exploration drilling on its 1.04 million acre land position. Parex strives to be the operator on record on all its blocks; this focus allows the Company to have considerable leverage over capital program costs and timing.

Parex has a portfolio of high impact prospects onshore Trinidad and in the Llanos Basin of Colombia and continues to seek additional growth opportunities. The Company consistently evaluates available opportunities around undeveloped acreage that is exploratory, non-productive but in proximity to existing production, in prolific basins where management and staff have expertise in the geologic potential and the commercial arrangements in place.
